      The Westport Fire Department was requested to respond to a reported shed fire. The initial report from the caller reported that the shed was located next to a house. The initial dispatch included four engines, a ladder truck, and the shift commander. Mutual aid was also dispatched to the scene and for station coverage. Read More...
      At approximately 7:30 pm on November 20, 2021, the Westport Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a chimney fire. Upon the arrival of the Shift Commander flames were seen coming from the roof of a large home. The call was immediately upgraded to a structure fire response, which received four engines, a ladder truck, and the Shift Commander. Read More...
      Today at approximately 1700 hours the Westport Fire department along with Fairfield Fire, AMR, CT State Police, and Westport EMS was requested to respond to a rollover on I-95 southbound, south of exit 19. Units arrived on scene to find an accident involving three vehicles. Read More...
      The Westport Fire Department Emergency Communications Center received a 911 call shortly after 6:30am this morning by a resident reporting a structure fire. The fire department responded with 4 engines, 1 ladder truck, 1 rescue truck, and 2 shift commanders. First arriving units found a 2 story, 2 family home with fire on the first floor, second floor, and attic. Read More...
      At 5:50pm, the Westport Fire Department was dispatched to a kitchen fire at 22 Hiawatha Lane. The first arriving units reported heavy smoke and fire visible from the first floor. The fire was  located in the kitchen with extension to the attic. Two 1 ¾ inch hose lines were deployed and a ventilation hole was cut in the roof. The fire was quickly extinguished. Read More...
